Update - I was contacted by the hotel and acknowledged receipt of the survey. Hopefully, will have the chance to visit one day and see if there are improvements.

This hotel needs a re-model as the furniture is a bit worn and outdated but nearly as bad as the other reviews would describe (at least from my point of view).
Another minus is that the staff needs more training, as this is the first time (after many many check ins to many Hilton branded hotels) that I was not acknowledged as a Hilton Honors member and not given water upon check in. This may seem petty but with Hilton's emphasis on the Hilton Honors membership, it's a big oversight. I filled in their survey with my displeasure and no call back. I guess the Management of this location doesn't really care.
The breakfast was terrible, constantly out of stock of basics such as orange juice and yogurt. The staff is working hard to keep up, but there is not enough of them around to keep pace. For goodness sakes, they even ran out of bananas. Don't try the waffles, there is something wrong with it as I saw many plates in the dishpan after one bite.
The few positives is that I got a great deal with the pending renovations. Also, the a/c is central, so it's very quiet.
The location is not far from the strip, about a 15 - 20 minute drive. I recommend to wait till they are finished with the renovations before booking a stay here.
