| - We got overly excited to be here and ordered wayy to much food, but all of it was delicious and I regret nothing.
This is located in a small shopping center away from the strip. I don't imagine tourists usually find their way here, but a local business owner recommended this place to us, and we were gratefully satisfied. We didn't have a reservation, so we did have to wait 20 minutes. I think that's reasonable for a Saturday night. The food and atmosphere reminded me of being at an Izakaya in Ikebukuro the last time I visited Tokyo. The prices were also reasonable.
We ordered: Spicy Tuna Roll, Salmon Sashimi Bowl, Shoyu Ramen, Cheese Tempura, Skewers of Asparagus/Bacon, Mochi/Bacon, Enoki/Bacon, Shitake Mushrooms, and Kara age. Every single thing ordered tasted wonderful, but our two favorites were the sashimi bowl and cheese tempura. The tempura was unconventional, but we were pleasantly surprised with how absolutely delicious the mozzarella, gouda, and havarti were.
The next time I'm in Vegas, I'm avoiding any "asian" food on the strip and coming directly here!
