| - If I could give this review 0 stars I would. What a nightmare it's been doing business with Ashley Furniture. Let's start at problem 1. We bought a bedroom set, and a living room set in April of 2014. It was supposed to be delivered on whatever day, and it didn't show. So a week later we received our furniture. We went back to Ashley to buy another mattress in August ONLY because they mailed us a gift card saying "sorry about your messed up delivery." Instant regret. The sales girl would not stop hitting on my boyfriend, mentioning her sex life every chance she could, which is absolutely inappropriate! Then when we went to pay for our purchase, they didn't know how to use the gift card, so they just didn't use it. And didn't mention that until after we paid in full. It was a floor model so we were in charge of picking it up. Ok fine, we went to get the mattress and they loaded up the truck with the WRONG mattress. It's their job to let us know which one to grab since they're all wrapped up, and they gave us the WRONG one. No free delivery or pickup for THIER mistake. So after paying for a truck to pick it up, we had to do it again. Oh not to mention, I purchased the mattress protector and I asked specifically if I could return it if it was crunchy and I was assured I could. Of course when it was crunchy, they denied the return. It is now March of 2015 and we've gotten some random bill in the mail for $3,000. We paid our account to $0 back in October of 2014. I've disputed the charge TWICE, but they are claiming "It's a left over balance from a purchase in July." How is that possible? We didn't purchase anything in July, the bill says it was a December purchase (we were overseas in December, not buying furniture), our account was paid to $0, and we haven't been back to Ashley since. They have someone else's account that didn't pay in full and they have thrown it at us like it's our problem. No one has been able to get this situation fixed and we are NOT paying for a purchase that is not ours. DON'T EVER SHOP AT ASHLEY! We've had a terrible experience from the get-go and here we are almost a year later, still dealing with their problems.
