The room itself was very fun. Me and a friend did a castle escape room on 1/8/18. The puzzles were challenging, and all of us in the room got along and won. If you're looking for an escape room with a moderate challenge, this is the place to go.
The thing that prevents me from giving it a 5-star is the decor and environment of the room. Without giving away too much detail, the room used florescent lights similar to garage lights. While there were some candles scattered around the room, the lighting made it seem like we were running around in a classroom more than anything. There was also no ongoing music or sound effects which was a huge bummer for me. As someone who's been in multiple rooms with theatrical sound effects and detailed lighting, I feel like you can't skip out on these details because these small details is what truly immerses you into the story behind the room.
To summarize: Challenging room? Yes. Great decor and lighting compared to many other escape rooms out there? It can use improvement.
