  • This airport is in serious need of a facelift. Some parts of the building is old and it sure looks it's age. I came here for a layover and I was not very impressed by the airport. Thank goodness the signage is clear, or else I would've hated stopping here. Confusing airports are probably very high on my list of 'things that give me anxiety about travelling', and lucky this airport did no such thing. The people that work here are not as friendly as the employees at Pearson in Toronto. They all seem tired out (trust me, I'd be too) and look like they really need a break. Luckily, checking in was easy peasy and I got through in no time. Security gave me no problem and that was great. Also, a 5'5 asian girl doesn't seem like much of a threat, does it? The terminals that go to the US do not have many places to grab food, and I ended up getting burger king, which was one of the only options near my terminal. It made me unsatisfied and full of hate for myself. Gross.. Luckily, the terminal was spacey and comfortable. One thing I didn't like though.. no outlets except for 2 placed on the walls!? Whaaaat? Usually they put outlets between seats so phone battery doesn't die before boarding. Sad times.
