| - Since I first started seeing Miranda in 2007 not a week has gone by that I haven't been stopped on the street by someone with a compliment! Little girls stop and stare and adults can't believe that my bright red hair doesn't fade between visits. Miranda uses organic products, which I didn't consider much of a necessity when I was younger - but as I mature and start to pay more attention to what I put in my body and what I pour into the Earth, I am grateful for. My hair has been dyed every 2 months on average for the last six years (and we won't talk about all the DIY bleaching that preceded my first visit, which she corrected for me!) but it feels as soft and healthy as virgin hair.
Each visit to her salon is a delight, it's an intimate environment and all the patrons chat with each other and with Miranda, as she quickly and expertly cuts, styles and dyes hair. She knows & remembers hair and is not afraid to tell you if she thinks something won't suit you - but will also do it anyway if that's what you want! I love Miranda & her work so much that I asked her to style myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding.. something she rarely commits to anymore, and which made me feel lucky to have her accept.

Nowadays, going to Miranda's feels more like a social event than the chore I found hair appointments in the past. We chat, we joke, we trade ideas.. Miranda is a warm and friendly person full of passion for life and her easy spirit will hitch a ride with you as you walk out the door and along Queen street, strutting in the sun with your new haircut! The best part is, she'll leave you with enough money to pick up a new outfit to go with your new look, compared to many Queen street salons. I could not recommend her enough! Just don't take my preferred appointment slot, guys.
