rev:text	Please, please consider your pets life and well being when you bring them to Banfield, especially this one. I didn't listen to my friends and neighbors when they told me to go anywhere but here. My puppy was only 8 weeks when I brought her in and signed her up on the puppy wellness plan. Little did I know that in three short weeks she would be gone due to how she was treated here. Not only will they perform unapproved and unnecessary tests on your pet (they did tests on my puppy without my permission after signing a sheet for notification, then performed $500 in unnecessary tests), but they will also provide rushed and inexperienced advice that can cost you your pets life, like it did mine. My poor puppy suffered so much in their care. She got extremely sick after her first round of vaccines there, tested negative for parasites on her 1st visit, positive on her 2nd, and the medicine they prescribed her (4 different meds) were ineffective. My puppy became so weak in their "care". The "doctors" then prescribed my puppy medication that they had never administered to any pets before, but they advised a 3.9lb puppy could handle it...I, a consumer and not a veterinarian, wouldn't know better and trusted their advice. Her body quickly decayed overnight right after taking this medication and she passes away... How does Banfield resolve this??? After my pet passes away from their "wellness" care, the stop payments on my plan but back charge me on all of her treatments. I already spent $1100.00 from one visit to Banfield (with a wellness plan)... They wanted another $400.00 After escalating this issue, they brought the amount to $180.00 and threatened to send it to collections. I paid it off the other day, 2 weeks after my pets death. More so than the money, their piss poor care has left a void in my life without my sweet girl which I had planned so much for the two of us... Please, again, if you value your pets life and well being, go to any local neighborhood clinic, not to this death sentence. I expect Banfield to comment and try to defend themselves here, but your false sympathy will not bring back my babies life. Have some backbone and go work for a company with some integrity, a place you can be proud of... Sorry for the negativity, Yelpers, just trying to look out.
