  • Never in my life did I think I would write a Yelp review for a mortuary, however if you are planning ahead (which I would assume you are doing if you are reading this) i think it's helpful to read first hand accounts. Twice (yes twice) in the past two years I have sat at Messingers to make those heart wrenching decisions and talk about things like death certificates and cremation. Both people we worked with were kind and caring. No pressure. They never tried to upsell us and take advantage during our worst moments. Yes, they are more expensive (especially when you compare to the billboards on the highway) but I can tell you, during a time of immeasurable grief, their professionalism and kindness is worth every dime. I wouldn't recommend any place else.
