  • Event Review: We attended the Crafted Mead and Cheese event this last weekend. It was $26 a person and the experience was definitely worth it. It's a smaller shop so there was room for 18 people total. The owner of the shop started the night off by handing out plates with 6 different cheeses, and a sheet with labels so you could remember what each was. He gave an in depth description of each of the cheeses and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The owner of Crafted Meadery then gave an in depth talk about each of his meads and we got to taste about 7-8 different kinds. I'd never tried mead before and loooved it. You got about 3-4 ounces per pour. The shop sells all of the cheeses and most of the meads that we got to try, along with some other brands of mead, which is something you can't find very many places. The ticket stated the event lasted from 6-9pm, but we were probably there until about 7:30-7:45ish. It was a fun night and we all agreed we would look into doing a wine and cheese event in the future.
