  • The librarians here are AWESOME and my interaction with them was so lovely and that's what pushed this from a 4-Star to a 5-Star review. I had just finished a foodie tour of the Brookline district when my bladder alerted me I needed a loo. Voila, this library magically appeared in my sight line and I stepped into a gorgeous light filled space with rows of books. It took a while for me to find the loo and yes, yelp, it is a gender neutral restroom - very clean and with all amenities in working order. Anyway, that done, I noticed my phone battery was down 50% and I had a whole day ahead of me, still exploring Pittsburgh. I thought of asking the librarian if they had iPhone chargers and success! They did! So was able to write up all my reviews, sitting and relaxing in a comfy chair - the Carnegie library truly keeps on giving! Yelp Review 46/2017
