I booked the Rock Star Tour bus to transport my wedding guests around on the day of my wedding. I am from out of town and relied simply on what I saw on the Internet. The pictures on the website of the bus are not what you actually see when you get on the bus.
I had sent a full itinerary of were my guests and I were to go for the day to the limo service over a month in advance. When the driver called me 30 minutes prior to pick up he informed me he didn't know where The Neon Museum Boneyard (our first stop) was. As a driver, figure it out before you are on your way to pick up. Plus, we were from out of state and were relying on him to get us to our drop offs in a timely manner.
Our bill for the service included a $120 tip to the driver. We paid in full 2 days prior to the service. When we were on the bus the driver made my husband pay half of the entire bill again, saying we still owed half of the bill. We were very busy and my husband did not argue with him and just paid. The day after the service we looked at our accounts and we had indeed been paid in full prior to the driver making us pay again. We were able to call the limo service and get what the driver charged to us refunded.
When we were getting off at our final stop, the driver got another $100 tip. He received a $220 tip all together. My husband and I were the first ones off the bus. Guests came up to us later and told us how the driver had complained to them that he didn't get any kind of tip. LIAR!
All in all, the bus wasn't terrible. We did have fun. But the service from the driver directly was terrible.
