  • On the one hand, this hotel is aging and in need of updates throughout. On the other hand, for as much time as we spent in the room or casino it didn't really matter. The main things this hotel has going for it are the relatively decent rates and its location on The Strip. It's connected to Paris, which has some good restaurants and a more appealing casino than Bally's (a little newer and less depressed). Plus it's across the street from Caesars and The Bellagio. At checkin my husband asked if there were any upgrades available and we got a jacuzzi suite for the price of a king room, but that's where the benefit ended. The room we got was run down, had no view, the A/C struggled to cool the room, the curtains were broken, one of the lamps was broken, the doors on the entertainment center were broken... It was not a great room, but considering that we spent no more than 15 hours in the hotel over the weekend, it wasn't a big deal. If you're looking for a luxurious experience, you will not find it at Bally's. If you simply want a (relatively) clean room and a bed to sleep in, this is your spot.
