Just got back from having a brazilian sugaring. The atmosphere is nice, calming and inviting. The receptionsit is friendly and informative.
So I haven't waxed in 7 weeks, so the hairs were a bit long for sugaring, so I had to get trimmed. The actual room that you get sugared in is also nice and neat. I really liked the fact that the bed that you lay on wasn't flat, especially being 7 months pregnant laying on my back for longer then 5 minutes is torture.
The sugaring itself took awhile, I'm used to getting a brazilian in under 10 minutes. This took about 20-30minutes, I lost track. After awhile it does become uncomfortable.
After I was done, I was given a hot cloth to sooth my skin and calming lotion to apply. The lady doing the sugaring was very comforting and kept asking if I was ok.
What I didn't like was the sale pitch of products when I was leaving. I would understand if I asked for a product reccomendation, but I didn't. I felt a bit bombarded. They are a bit more pricey, but they do offer discounts if you sugar more than one area.
Overall I enjoyed my experience and will be going back, especially if it helps with my ingrowns.
