  • Lori is a gem! I can't speak to the other aestheticians or hair stylists here, but Lori is wonderful. She is very meticulous and adjusts each treatment based on how my skin is at that specific appointment. She always asks me how my face reacted to the last treatment and then adjusts accordingly. She does extractions, which is a big deal to me; I've had facials at other spas where it isn't included because they are worried about hurting you (I'm rolling my eyes as I write that). If it's done properly, extractions are uncomfortable, but they don't hurt you! Additionally, Lori always texts me within an hour or two after a treatment to see if the redness from a peel or dermaplaning has subsided--does your aesthetician do that? One time, she accidentally gave me a tiny (literally microscopic) nick on my face while dermaplaning (I like talking to her too much--you shouldn't move when there's a sharp blade running up and down your face) and she texted me four times afterwards to make sure it didn't leave a mark and I was okay (I couldn't even see it the next morning!). She really cares about her clients and you can tell. I also enjoy the fact that she uses wonderful products (Skin Scripts and PCA primarily). She does make product suggestions every once in awhile (which can be helpful), but doesn't push products on you as you check out. There have even been times when she has gone out of her way to schedule an appointment that works for me, even if she wasn't planning to come into the salon at that time. Lastly, the prices for her services are incredibly reasonable; case in point, a dermaplaning appointment will set you back $50, instead of the usual $90 or $100 that most places in Scottsdale charge. I cannot say enough nice things about her. I strongly recommend you try her out!
