| - No Lobster? No Scallops? $40.00 a person & 90 minute line!
My husband and I had been looking forward to visiting this buffet for a really long time. We arrived at 5 pm on a Saturday and didn't get to a table until around 6:30 pm. Our backs and feet were aching and of course we were starving.
We finally got to a nice table in the back over-flow area. It was nice, clean, and had a great view of the strip. I was, however, disappointed in the seafood selections. The Snow Crab was great (even though each leg was sliced in half....no full crab legs), the Crawfish was OK, but I am a lover of Lobster and Scallops and neither were on the buffet line.
Some of the other items on the buffet line: under-seasoned fried chicken, room-temp sushi rolls, pork loins, salads, pizza, Chinese & Thai selections, oyster, shrimp, etc...
None of them impressed me and after the long wait and high fee I left feeling scammed. This was supposed to be a seafood buffet after all and I didn't even have that much seafood.
The pros......the bartender was very friendly. She was quick and efficient filling everyone's glasses with options of 3 draft beers, cider, root beer, and a small selection of red and white wines.
The dessert bar was OK. The desserts left something to be desired, but the coffee and espressos were excellent.
People used to come to Vegas knowing they were going to get a great deal on everything from hotel rooms to food, but we didn't feel that way at all after experiencing this buffet.
