Renter beware! The office staff at this location is awesome. The location is good. BUT beware... I've not even been in a unit for 6 months and they just increased my rent by $20 a month. I call to talk to someone and I got the runaround.
First I called to the office who told me they couldn't do anything about it (although online it said they had one for $7 more than I was paying and the walk in new customer would be at that rate too), they gave me the customer service number (voice response system is not user friendly) who told me they had no control and that the District Manager, Nathan, could do something. I called him. He returned my call then proceeded to talk to me as if I couldn't understand supply and demand and as if I was an idiot. He also told me that he couldn't do anything about it.
So, what I've learned??? Absolutely no one can do anything about anything at Public Storage and they can and will raise your rent any time they want. It doesn't matter if you have been there a few months or a long time. They will do it and there is nothing you can do about it. Also, don't try to move to another one, you only get 1 time as a new customer at ANY of their locations and you can never be new (to a different location) again.
