  • Wooden Robot has my favorite beer in Charlotte. The only thing I would change would be more room outside. The atmosphere is fun, the staff is awesome, and the food truck is delicious. I love that different sizes are available- this makes it easy to taste a few beers and then get a larger size if you want, without draining your "weekly brewery allowance." My favorite beer is the Good Morning Vietnam. It's a vanilla coffee blonde which is pretty unique. It's light but with a full flavor. The best seasonal beer is Sweet Tater Pie. I'm not a huge IPA person but What He's Having is citrusy enough to make the hoppy taste not too overwhelming. They have some great staples and some rotating, but I have yet to be disappointed with any of Wooden Robot's beers.
