| - Adventuredome inside the Circus Circus hotel is quite fun but ridiculously expensive, even with the $2 Nevada local's discount. An all day pass for a younger child will set you back about $15 but for the many rides where an adult is needed to accompany the child, you're looking at a $30 wristband as well.
Now some staff attendants for the rides will let you join your child without a wristband, others are more strict. I'm not exactly trying to get an all-day pass for myself; I'm not trying to leave my little girls to ride Adventuredome's two rollercoasters on my own. On the other hand, having to tell your daughter we can't go up the ferris wheel because they want another $30 out of us is unsettling. It truly sucks that your enjoyment is affected by which workers are working which rides that day. Just let a parents ride with their child if the child isn't tall enough to go on their own.
Other than that, there are plenty of activities to enjoy here: miniature golf, circus clown acts, an arcade, shows, carnival games, and tons of rides for various ages. There is food offered here but it is nothing special.
As a pro tip, kill two birds with one stone. While you're visiting Adventuredome, make your way to the casino floor and go up to the 2nd level. There you'll find free circus acts every 15 minutes and a gigantic arcade. Enjoy!
