The good news is - both the RN & PA were good at their respective jobs. The bad news? They both have terrible bedside manners.
The RN checked my husband's vitals, etc and then asked about his symptoms. I started to answer, and she cut me off. Only talked with my husband (which I understand intellectually, but she was so rude). My husband does not like doctors, fibs about his illness(es), and his medical history. I wish she would have done the courtesy of listening to me AND my husband.
The PA was thorough in his exam and questions. His bedside manner was dry and humorless. People come to Urgent Care with anxiety and a little compassion goes a long way. Thankfully he listened to me AND my husband. We got a diagnosis, some prescriptions, and were on our way in a half hour.
I did use the online booking. It saved us a wait and I appreciated that.
God forbid we ever have to go back (bc of illness or emergency) but if we do, I'll know what to expect.
