  • I had a great time at this museum. I normally go through museums pretty quickly, and this place took me about two hours. They have a huge collection of local Native American tribal artifacts and some interesting diorama type things (a life sized model of an oven for baking bread, a couple examples of traditional housing etc). Also a few rotating collections. I saw an exhibit about foods/products indigenous to the Americas (chocolate, cochineal, etc) and an exhibit about the boarding schools/ assimilation. There is also a small collection of other tribal artifacts from elsewhere in the world. These don't make sense- they should loan to other museums and expand their interactive exhibits.
