  • What a surprisingly awesome Holiday Inn! I generally hold somewhat lower expectations when staying at a hotel in this price range (my room cost $123 one night; $108 the next). I completely underestimated this gem!! Upon entering, the lobby was clean, well-lit, and comfortable; at this time, decorated for Christmas. Check-in was easy, and we soon found ourselves in a spacious king room with modern decor. Everything smelled and looked brand new and well-maintained. The bed was ultra-comfortable. The bathroom featured a large, walk-in shower. The bathroom toiletries are basic and rather low-end, so bring your own if you have more high maintenance needs. Bonuses: FREE breakfast that was actually super delicious! I do secretly love those simple little omelettes, filled with American cheese, that I top with salsa. The biscuits and gravy was also top-notch! FREE Wi-Fi Overall, a comfortable, clean, well-appointed hotel for a tremendous value! I will definitely be a repeat guest when traveling to the Canonsburg area.
