  • I had been bugging my boyfriend to take me here because me coworker had told me good things about it, but he wasn't interested in going because his coworker had said not so good things about the place. One Friday night I decided to check it out with or without him---it ended up being without. I sat at the bar since I was there solo, and it took quite some time for someone to actually start serving me--- plenty of bartenders and servers walked by, and I didn't even get a, "someone will be right with you." I almost left before being served, mostly because the smell of fish was so overpowering. I really do not like any kind of seafood at all, but I think it was a bit strong for someone who is okay with eating it. I stuck it out, and ordered just a burger. It was ok. Not worth the price. I could have gotten a much better burger for the same price, maybe even cheaper, elsewhere. The biggest thing keeping me from going back to this place is the thought of that fish smell.....yuck. The service was really not that great either. If you like seafood, I would check it out. If not, there are better places in Lakewood to check out.
