I found my new pastry love!
While I was running an errand in the plaza I stumbled on a red sign with the words ... The Danish Pastry House. I gravitated to it instantly... Who could resist pastry and bread right?! As I walked in, I was greeted immediately by I am assuming the owner. She was super sweet and thorough and introduced me to Danish pastries. She took the time to explain what was popular and also asked what kind of desserts I typically liked before recommending me what to get. I also indicated my love for bread and she ran through her selection of breads and I even tried the Paleo one. The Paleo bread was simply nutty and not my general preference. The sour dough was delicious! There was this other one that had a smokey nut flavour which was super addictive and chewy, which of course was recommended by the staff ...And it sure was yummy!
I really enjoyed the sweet pastries that I got which were chocolate hazelnut crossiant like along with this apple pastry. The one similar to a crossiant was so delicious and thank goodness I only bought one..lol!
I will definitely be back to try all the yummy goodness and also buy this shareable pastry to bring to gatherings (yes I already eyed this pastry cake). They also have a small sitting area where you can order coffee and enjoy the sweet treats.
The Danish Pastry House is definitely on my recommend list, two thumbs up!
