I brought my prescription up to the pharmacist at the counter. He took a look and said he had a question he would have to contact the doctor about. I had just come from the doctor, so I said no problem, he is there now. I had my drivers license and insurance card, so the pharmacist punched something into his computer and said since I had not had a prescription filled there before he would not be willing to do that. Really?! I had never been told that by a pharmacist before.
Then he punch some more into his computer and said he didn't have it in stock anyway and I should just go somewhere else. He suggested the Walgreen across the street! I have been told "We can order it for you" or "I can check with another of our pharmacies to see if they have it in stock" but never this!
He then - and this was the real kicker - made a very judgmental and unprofessional remark about the medication I was prescribed! I could hardly believe my ears! WTH!
I can only think he must've wanted me out of the store as quickly as possible for some reason, because that is how it worked. I won't be going back.
