  • The free admission on Sundays during the summer time is one great way to spend the day. Be sure to look up the schedule of performances and include it in your visit to the museum. We saw a beautiful display of hoop dancing and other traditional dances accompanied with a brief narrative explaining the meaning/purpose. This is a very family friendly museum all the while providing the opportunity to learn about the history of amazing people from not only Arizona but of the United States. Also, we tagged along one of the guided tours only to be impressed by the guide's ability to entertain, inform, and maintain the group's interest.
