  • Kind of long overdue reviewing ZenQ. Not really sure how they came up with the name, but its definitely not hard to remember! We came for dessert, which along with drinks, is this places specialty. With that in mind, we ordered P4. Along with tofu, it came with tapioca, peanut, red bean and some other delightful chewy pieces. There were so many interesting textures and tastes combined into the one bowl. My favourite part was definitely the chewy pieces of gelatinous rice. Its kind of a filling dessert and can be shared between 2-3 people...however for me, ill eat one bowl by myself. :) For a drink we tried the Hot taro milk tea. It was so good! I dont think it is too heavy on powder (like bubble tea can sometimes be for example)...It was thick, creamy, and actually yes, had texture to it. It was sort of gritty/starchy which I imagine comes from the addition of actual purple yam. Its good in my books.
