I stayed here for a family reunion and we were very pleased. The beds at Hampton Inn are always so comfortable. The staff was professional and patient when we did a bunch of room-switching.
This is a super weird building, and we were wondering what it used to be. For example, our room didn't have a closet! They had fashioned one by having a curtain and hooks along one wall. My parents said that it reminded them of staying on a cruise ship, where shelves and cabinets are hidden in odd places to maximize space.
The pool is small but pretty and clean. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Gym, also, small but very clean.
The walls are absolutely soundproof. I stayed with my 6-year-old son. My parents stayed in the next room over. One afternoon, my husband and son were roughhousing, and my son was screaming and shrieking at the top of his lungs. I asked my mom whether she could hear it, and she said not at all. Which I believe, as I also didn't hear any noises at all during our entire trip.
