| - This review is for Sixt rental car at the airport. We had Sixt the last time we went to Vegas. We gave Sixt another try after our bad experience 2 years ago. Just wanted to see whether they have improved. The first time we took Sixt they didn't inform us that they closed by midnight and we got there around that time. That was then and now they open 24 hours. It's a nice car rental place with fancy schmancy color but the loading and unloading too many times could make you think twice not to take this again. The night we arrived to get a car there's a couple in front of us who just couldn't decide which car they wanted to rent and they held the line up, which they shouldn't do. My husband had to let the staff know that this isn't working and the couple should be told to move aside and let other customers do their part. When you're still thinking of what car you want and you try to select at the counter and going from mentioning one car to another and another and another, then it's time to say "please move aside and let other customers get their car and be out the door while you make your decision." The staff understood completely but sometimes they weren't trained that other customers can't hold the line up like that, especially in the middle of the night when every customer is pretty tired. There's other people behind us too, not just us. We thought it was funny. Another problem with Sixt is that the shuttle from the airport would not take you straight to Sixt building but took you to the first car rental building where Sixt is not located in that building. So OK, hold on right there! They make you unload and load your luggage twice (poor my clothes and shoes going wild in that luggage bag LOL). You think that they would have half a brain not to do that to customers who fly in from a long flight. Sixt should have had their own shuttle that operates between Sixt and airport. When we returned the car I went to ask whether they'll take us to the AIRPORT because if they did we would just drop off the luggage at the first building and only one person drive to Sixt to return the car and walk back without the luggage to take the shuttle from the car rental building to the airport, BUT they said YES and then they drove us to the car rental building and drop us there. Meaning we again had to load and unload luggages. Either they didn't know the difference between the airport and the car rental building or they failed to understand. Customer service is good, only the way they operate the whole operation can be a little better. Maybe in few years we'll try Sixt again and see what happens, but for now the price is great, the service is ok, the whole operation is not. You pay for what you get, less money and more work.
