  • I used to settle for a cheap $10 haircut at Fantastic Sams (or any nearby chain-cutter). Then I got a bad cut in 2004; I went to Mood Swings and since then I've never been anywhere else. Expensive? Yes, but you get what you pay for. I like head, arm and hand massages. I like knowing that the stylist cutting my hair is going to make damn-sure that it looks AMAZING when he/she's finished. Honestly, I can walk in for my appointment, tell my stylist, Brittany, "I don't know...just make it look better," and she'll do it. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, the music is great, and the space is open and well decorated. Plus, they only use Aveda products, so I walk out smelling like a forest. A beautiful forest with one kickin' haircut.
