| - I really struggled whether to give 4 or 5 stars. I had my house deep cleaned at the end of the year. It was hella expensive. I don't know how it compares to other services as I've never had a deep cleaning, but it is something I plan to budget for every year. Just the thought of starting with it super clean makes me feel like THIS year, I'll be able to keep up. It. Was. Clean.
I did not get the names of my team members, but they were friendly and efficient without a hint of the attitude I have had from other services. I had a few spots that I was pretty sure they weren't going to clean, and was surprised to find they did. Really I can't say enough good about them, but there were just a few things that weren't perfect:
As I was doing a walkthrough before they left, there was an area of the floor they hadn't touched. It was a weird step down hall area, didn't surprise me it could be missed and they took care of it before they left.
After they left I noticed the top of our stand alone freezer hadn't been wiped - again, not a big deal. It's in our larder, no one sees it, easy to fix.
The wall paper in our bathroom was bleached in about a 1/2" strip where the paper meets the counter. Whatever they used on the counter did not agree with the wallpaper. I HATE that wallpaper and we are eventually going to strip it, so I'm not heartbroken, plus it was in the master bath, only my husband and I see it. But it gave me pause.
The same thing happened with about 1" of the bottom of a piece of furniture that sits directly on the floor. Whatever they used on the floor, left a white line across the bottom of that piece. That's a little disappointing. It's not an antique or anything, but it is a piece we plan to retain for many more years. Too much hassle to have it refinished, so I'll deal, but I wish it hadn't happened.
The last thing is a glass box with a geisha doll in it was moved to clean a shelf, when it was moved, it came apart. That happens, it took my husband and I less than 1/2 hour to reassemble it, not a big deal. I'm a little disappointed that it wasn't mentioned to me. I would not have been mad, but it would have been nice to repair it then rather than just before guests were arriving.
You can see how clean my house was if I still considered giving them 5 stars! I hung out in my office and then outside to give them their space, so I wasn't walking on clean floors or in their way, but I think next time (and yes, I would use this company and even this team again) I will hang out inside.
