I wanted to respond to Fred c. The reason as to why the employees must continue to run to the back and continuously get meats and cheeses, Here's the reason why:
Because there's a shelf life on the meats and cheeses. Once they are pulled, the shelf life is immediately counting down... and they only get 5 days (meats)opened. So, if they were to replace the meat & cheese chubs, and not to sell them that's simply throwing away money and that hurts :(
The employees should not be pulling the "display" meats and cheeses for rotation reasons, unless the meat and or cheese is not in the cooler where it should be. All the meats and cheeses get proper rotation which helps everyone out. :)
As for the one cheese slicer, I know that's not fun to wait! Most and close to all of HT deli and bakery's only have one cheese slicer. If you're not waiting at all, then you may want to find out if your cheese is being sliced on a meat slicer, not good!
The ordering meats to cheese ratio is 5:1.... As to why there are more meat slicers than cheese. Bigger stores will have more slicers. I am sorry you have to wait. Thanks for your review!! :)
