| - Inconsistent menu item preparation and staff that lacks enthusiasm or a willingness to be engaging has sealed the deal for me in this place. I won't be coming back.
I went in the other night (8:15-ish) after a workout for some protein and ordered the collard wrap with chicken. The first time I'd ordered it (a couple weeks prior), the collard leaves were a bright beautiful green and wrapped snugly around the filling. It was yummy and I was looking forward to capping my evening with a small healthy dinner.
The two people working were cleaning and took their sweet time acknowledging I was even there as I stood waiting at the register. They went back and forth a couple times and finally the girl walked over. Come on... When a customer walks in, ESPECIALLY if there are zero other people waiting, and you're purposely going to make them wait while you finish up something, then SAY something about that. Completely unprofessional.
The gal took my order, I got the box, and drove home. Upon opening it I was pretty floored at the difference between what I was given that night and what I'd had the first time. Yellowed collard leaves were *laying* in the bottom of the container with the filling just spooned over the top of them.
Do you guys have no pride in your work? Do you give two sh*ts at all about what you present to your customers and its quality? I've seen other reviews documenting the same complaint so it appears this is a chronic problem. And I do not accept any argument along the lines of, "Well, it's a fast food joint after all." Please. Let me point you to the enthusiasm of the staff at In-And-Out and their happy, fun-loving attitudes, and the consistency of their food prep. Or maybe the folks over at Five Guys hollering out a greeting to people when they walk in the door. And there are plenty more...
In the other reviews I've also seen responses saying "We've replaced some staff, please come give us another try." I don't accept that either. What's the common denominator here after staff has been replaced? Management. This is squarely on you who run the place and set the example. You are obviously missing something and that is painfully obvious in the consistent poor performance.
Change management, change attitude, get some experience. Your values are in the wrong place and until that's addressed with some vigor you will continue to be just another mediocre joint trying to push healthy alternatives and never quite making it.
