  • I'd like to start by saying both of my older boys were delivered at this hospital about 19- 17 yrs ago. They had a top notch delivery floor, and stafg. Nurses excellent, doctor too. Fast forward a few yrs, cut my leg at work, needed stitches. When I arrived, it looked a little dinghy. Not to worry fixed up nicely. Fast forward, a few more, had some gall stone issues, nothing found, pain stopped, went home. Fast forward to last weekend...03/24/17. Went to the ER for gall stone pain again. ER was ok. They admitted me because they did ultrasound and "saw gallstones and sludge." On the the way up to the 7th floor, I commented to the guy taking me, I felt special, because I got to go up to the top. He said oh 4th, 5th, and 6th floors where closed down. They had 2nd floor ER, top floor hospital. Now after admitted, the aids showed up, bantering with each other on who was going to do what...the girl won out by playfully threatening the guy...very unprofessional. The didn't really bother to check but once or twice, during her 12 hour shift. Was told I couldn't eat or drink because Dr. had ordered a ct scan. I asked why a ct scan the aid said Dr ordered it, asked nurse, she said same thing. Dr showed up, I ask why the Dr scan? She says it was a hydro scan not ct...now I'm feeling a little uneasy. The surgeon shows up, and pitches my surgery like a car salesman...more uneasy. I wear a bipap, with high pressure in and out. Next morning respiratory shows up says it is agaunts policy for me to use my machine, so he brings me another. Dr ordered it. I asked what the pressure was set at. Almost 2x lower than my settings. Then I asked if it was bipap. He said no, cpap. That was it! The Dr didn't even bother to check my settings, and just orderred some random, stupid, cpap, for me. I could have died in my sleep if they changed it at night, when I was asleep. That was final straw. I told the nurse I was leaving. Didn't want them to take out one of my kidneys, when I was there for gallstones. So, I would never recommend this hospital! NEVER EVER! No o e knows what the other is doing...p.s. I didn't even cover the two buffoons who came in to eat me for surgery...one said I would be intubated, and that would help me breathe so she was clearing me...
