| - My friend and I were staying at the hotel and needed a break from all the smoke and gambling, so we decided to go see BEAUTY AND THE BEAST in 2D (thank goodness for friends who don't like 3D!!)
The cashier was not very friendly. Just sold us tickets. Didn't say where to go out even thank you. There's a concession stand, which we didn't visit, as we just came from dinner. However I did have my Starbucks tea that they wouldn't let me take in, so I had to suck it down really quick, which just sucks, especially because I just bought it two minutes before in the casino. Seems they would be more open with outside food and drink when it's coming from the sane property. :( boo. But whatever... finished my drink, went to bathroom, and joined my friend for the 20+ minutes of previews. Ugh.
When the movie started the sound was so bad. Sounded like they blew a speaker. Two people got up from the audience. I waited a few more minutes and then got up myself because the scratching sounds were causing me anxiety. I bet the other two people outside who were complaining and the lady said they were working on fixing it. It took about 5 minutes. They should have stopped the movie and restarted but they didn't. Fortunately I know the story.
The rest of the movie went without a hitch. GEAR MOVIE! Loved it!
As for theater, they could make a few tweaks to minor things, but overall it's a nice theater with plush, comfortable seats that lean back (not recliners though). Screen is a little on smaller side in comparison to those in los Angeles. But great that it's right there in the casino and hotel.
