The salon had a cool vibe. This was my first visit and I have been holding off on going anywhere here in Vegas. I usually wait until I go home to Arizona to get my hair done. Since it had been a year since I had anything done to my hair and I needed to treat myself I decided to give this place a try since it was recommended by a friend. I had Allison who was nice but I couldn't get her to talk to me. I tried a few times to strike up a convo and she just wasn't interested I guess In chatting. No problem. There's nowhere in the rule book that says your stylist has to chit chat with you, haha. She did have another client Come in though and she chatted his ear off. So that kinda made me feel bad. I'm kinda shy at first so for me to try and make conversation was stepping out of my box.
So I had the hair painting done which I had never done before. She seemed to know what she was doing. I was feeling good. Her assistant washed and toned my hair. He kept pulling my hair and I felt like maybe it was his fake nails or something? So I get my hair blow dried and the color looked good. I paid 250 including tip which is the most I've ever shelled out to get just a color. But I was happy with my color so it's fine to pay for quality. I got home and was messing around with my hair as most of us do and lifted some sections and to my horror I had lines through my hair! I'm pretty upset since I paid so much! If I would have paid 50 bucks this is what I would have expected. But to pay this much and have lines?! No. Totally unacceptable. I will not be returning and I'll be waiting till I go down to Arizona to get my hair done from now on. Lesson learned!
