  • Nice ambience, but can be loud, so it must be expected. Food is pretty good. DON'T ask for spicy. I'm South Asian and ask for spicy at Indian restaurants, but what I had yesterday at l'Avenue was inedible. When I told the waitress, she said "next time, don't order spicy." That pissed me off. I only finished 1/2 my plate, leaving most of the chicken behind. No "sorrys" and no discount. Basically, she blamed me. Water was refilled only once: right before the bill. Not going there again.
