I did book this property via Travelocity. The receptionist in the front was nice very helpful as she did tell me that there was a $50 deposit. Which I could put on my card or pay in cash and I would get it back when I check out. Which I was fine with that. The check-in process was pretty fast. I was told to drive to the back to access my room. Upon doing so, I did notice some people just chillin in their vehicle and another dude spray painting his car. I was a bit hesitant about leaving my vehicle alone. Walking into the motel hallway I did see people sleeping in the hallway where there used to be an ice & vending machines. Upon entering my room the first thing that I noticed was the smell, it was a combination of cigarettes & this stale Odor. Then I noticed roaches running around. At this point I wanted to leave or switch room. But it was already to late to do so & im sure all the rooms where like this. With knowing about the roaches I left my luggage in car. And only brought in what I needed. I didn't want any critters hitchhiking. Anywho the little bag I did bring in I hung up on the hanger. I kept the ac & lights on all night, I didn't want to see any roaches. The room had a king size bed, dresser, and old school tv, four lamps (only one worked) and some retro appliances (mini fridge, and two microwaves). The room seemed so cluttered with all this. But it was nice to put my water bottles in for a cold drink. I did make microwave popcorn for a snack. The restroom was a bit cramped as well. But everything worked. There was a coffee maker in the restroom, but I passed on that. The shower nice. But the rail in tub came off when I grabbed it for support. Oh the motel did supply free wifi (I think it the wifi name was "DAYSINN". Which was pretty decent speed. The nightlife in the motel was something too. I heard people arguing in the hallway around 1am. Doors slamming. If your on a budget, this place is for you. Did it do it purpose? Yes. I was able to sleep & shower.
