I love trying new and different things so when I got to pick a restaurant for my birthday dinner with the family I decided I wanted to try Ethiopian.
I had the black tea, my sister had the herbal tea and both my parents tried the amber Ethiopian beer. All the drinks were great.
I ordered the soup to start with an it was really good. Its a tomato based soup and the spices were great without being overwhelming.
For the entrée we ordered the Lalibela Platter. The menu says it serves 3 but it was more than enough for the 4 of us. Everything on it was great, though in all honesty I'm not really sure what all of it was. The collared grees were really good and I don't normally like collared greens. The spicy chicken was definitely one of the favorites and not too spicy.
The service was good and our waitress was more than willing to explain the dishes to us.
I would recommend this place.
