I'd give this place a 2 and a half stars but I think just 2 shall suffice. I've always past by the salon noticing how clean and beautiful it looked inside so I decided to give it a try. I got my nails done here for prom and mind you I rarely ever go to a salon to do my nails because I always do them myself. I told the man at the counter I wanted stiletto shaped nails with a French mani with my natural nails since they were long enough to be done. He tried to persuade me that I should be doing shellac nails instead because it lasts longer to which I said i don't mind how long it lasts, I could always redo them myself when the polish starts to chip. I decided to ask them how much shellac would be and he replied with "not much" ... alright then. Finally we sat down and agreed that we'd just work on my natural nails which is what I wanted in the first place. During the process of getting my nails into the shape I wanted he filed and buffed them so hard I started to bleed and my skin came off on 2 of my fingers (which by the way hurt for the next week or so before the skin grew back) While doing my nails he asked if I wanted some jewels on my ring fingers as decorations, once again I asked how much they would be and he replied "not much" ... okay buddy. (I don't recall how much they actually were so sorry) So I decided to get the jewels which was a mistake because he did some next weird pattern or flower I wasn't sure what he was going for and some of the jewels were even starting to hang off my nails... When I got home I took some off and just applied my own and fixed it up. Needless to say my end result wasn't terribly bad, it was what I wanted but I felt like I easily could've done them myself at home. But I didn't end up giving him a tip because he didn't seem to care he made a client lose some skin and didn't properly answer questions. On top of that he smelled like sweat the whole time but that's not one of the reasons I didn't tip him. It's a very high chance I will not be returning in the future.
