| - Perkins always remind me of my childhood in Winnipeg, going their for breakfast. Since I have grown-up in Calgary, there wasn't as many Perkins here as there was in Winnipeg, so nevery really got to eat there often.
I went there a few weeks ago with my cousin as we were just driving by and starving. We were seated right away, but in a booth that was a little too dated, that probably needed to be replaced (big hole on the side covered in duct tape) As hungry as we were, we had some trouble decieding what to get. Not because of lack of option, there were too many to choose from. I ended up getting a burger with fries and a side of gravy. The serving size was perfect, waste even able to finish it all. The food tasted good as well. The gravy wasnt the best and was a little cold, but with hot fries, it didnt bother me. We were checked on twice from our server and drinks were refilled before they were even empty, which I like.
Overall, it was just okay. If your looking for a cheap, sit down lunch, this place is a-okay!
