This was a short fun stop before leaving Las Vegas. While we'd hoped to visit in the evening when the holiday lights fill their succulent garden with whimsy and magic, a daytime trip was second best.
It's a short but fun stop. The huge windows give you a glimpse into the world of making chocolates with the large conveyor belt of chocolates waiting to be boxed! It had me rolling thinking of the Lucille Ball episode where she worked in a chocolate factory. Though the chocolates threatened to overwhelm the worker, they got things under control.
We went for a build your own custom flavors box (though they were out of boxes which actually worked better for our road trip since we each got our own goody bag in the car). We made a rule that we couldn't eat more than one every 2 hours so we could make them last and appreciate every piece.
Our three-thumb review is three chocolate-covered thumbs up! My teen son wasn't as excited to go on this adventure until he realized he was surrounded by chocolate available for purchase. His favorite was a lemon-filled chocolate. My tween daughter's favorite was watching them extravagantly drizzling chocolate on caramel apples. Her favorite chocolate was a milk chocolate caramel. I was overwhelmed in the best way by the wide variety of options available! My favorite was the toffee but I will return to try the prickly pear chocolate which may pull into 1st place (they were out for the day). Another way to make the experience last longer will be to make an appointment for a tasting!
