  • Shazzbot! This place is what might happen if Phantom of the Attic merged with Dave's Music Mine and Rickert & Beagle! But for now I'm talkin' comic books, kids! Yeah, that's what caught my eye when Kay and I stumbled into this big old shed (well, it's in a strip mall) of a Half Price Books franchise. Damn, the back issues were all organized and bagged and boarded. There were even sets! And they dated back to the 70's! Of course, as other reviewers have detailed, there's plenty of games, vinyl records, CD's, toys, movies in various formats, and books (at rock bottom prices no less) to gawk at as well. Oh, and you can unload your unwanted stuff here for cash or credit. Does Greg Eide have some involvement? Man, those wholesome, folksy, grandfatherly radio spots are deceiving. They've got some randy, subversive merchandise on those shelves.
