This is long overdue (not that it's a big deal anyway). Stayed here back in 2014 for business. Was my first time in Vegas (baby!) and the hotel had a nice large lobby with the usually shops, eateries, etc. The casino was a bit too smoky for me (2nd hand smoke always chokes me up) and I had no choice but to pass through it everytime I had to attend my seminars. Renovations/additions were occurring in this part of the hotel where my workshops were. Working out it's quirks still was apparent in the ladies bathrooms as the scalding hot water was all there was when washing your hands! Ouch!
It's definitely one of the classic favorite Strip casinos as there is a mix of gamblers on the floor. My room was located in the older part of the hotel, but it was clean and roomy. The staff is friendly and one of the ladies at the Cashing counter gave me a coupon for a complimentary ride & drink at the Linq. We had a nice talk about places to check out in NYC and Vegas. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to do it since my time here was short but sweet!
The hotel's location is in a prime spot as it's right smack in the middle of the Strip. All the touristy hot spots was within walking distance. First time in Vegas is always a fun experience. Definitely Disneyland for adults!
