I went back to Ella's and they impressed me enough to edit my review and give them another star. I still feel the majority of the food is overpriced, especially considering what you get for it, but it tasted good and was fresh. Kosher isn't important to me but for those of you who it is this place will fill your need. The ice cream was still very tasty as was their homemade chocolate lava cake which was delicious. It's still a little too kitschy for my personal taste so I don't see myself frequented the place but the occasional meal might be fun. One thing that kept me from moving them up to four stars was the service. They seem to staff a lot of kids still in school for whom it seems like this might be their first service job, our server didn't have an attitude problem or anything like that he was just very forgetful.
Oh and they ran out of tuna. WTF!
