  • Fantastic experience trying zPizza for the first time! Purchased a Groupon to go with husband and two friends and it was a phenomenal deal. I would recommend purchasing one to try it out. We are definitely adding this to our list of favorite pizza restaurants so thanks Groupon. My favorite thing about zPizza in addition to the delicious food is the self serve beer taps. We were a little confused at first but our host showed us how to use the taps. You pay by the ounce so you can try different things. I tried the pear cider and the hard root beer. They also have wine. The prices are very reasonable and about $8-$10 of pour per person got us each two large glasses and we were feeling very nice! The hard root beer is awesome. The Groupon came with side salads which were Cesar and what I appreciated about them was the fact that they had just a touch of dressing and it wasn't too strong. We shared pizzas and the one I ate was a mushroom pizza with three types of mushrooms. It was very fresh and flavorful. Tasted gourmet. Crust was thin but not too thin and burnt. I would say right in the middle. The location is convenient in downtown Phoenix and they have a nice outdoor patio. We will be back! Our guests had a great time and our host was so friendly and explained everything to us.
