| - maybe you should change this to wicked spoon desserts. i'll give it 4 stars, but that's only going to your amazing dessert selection. the rest of the food = 3, given that i attended for brunch.
yes, the chocolate dipped strawberries. eat them. they are so plump and juicy. i still don't know why these are an aphrodisiac. i wasn't getting hot in my pants. i really just enjoyed eating strawberries and chocolate (with peanuts and toffee) together because the combo is delicious. the whipped cream to make strawberry shortcake, too, was so nice and fluffy.
there were so many desserts, that yes, this place has the best selection desserts. i think i had stumbled upon a good mango macaroon. or orange. but it was orange colored and did not taste like my mimosa. like i said, macaroon revolution 2011.
though i had only went for brunch and was pressured by my significant other that it's a must try - yes, it's been tried and done. unfortunately there was not one single dish that stood out to me. i think this is a rarity where the reputation of desserts overpower the rest of the food. you know, it's the usual asian, southern style, prime rib, mac'n'cheese, salad bar, breakfast ish, yeah. eh. ok. like hometown buffet. i do love the little pots though , and the bottle of water ready on the tables.
will i come again? sure. i'll come back for some strawberries and whipped cream.
