  • My GSD had a bilateral TPLO and without insurance would have been extremely expensive for me. For some people without insurance, they may have to put their pet down from expense. I was so happy I had Healthy Paws insurance but even more thrilled when I actually sent in my claims. I was able to go to a specialist for this treatment and got first class care. When I submitted the claim it was almost immediate that Healthy Paws got right back to me to let me know they received it - then within hours my claim was processed. I have never had insurance like this even for myself. No hassle, extremely fast, and the claims were sent with easy to understand explanations. They paid 90% just like they said they would and also inquired how my dog was doing. The customer service was outstanding. A plus is also that they donate to rescues. It took 4 months of care before my dog was really recovered. Not only did this awesome company help pay for the surgery they stood behind us when rehab was recommended and helped with this also. I have recommended this pet insurance to all my friends and anyone who is thinking about getting pet insurance. I am getting a new puppy soon and will be signing this new pup up also. Just the best experience ever - This company talks the talk and walks the walk -
