| - There is very little quality at these Quality Suites.
After a fine check-in process, we located our room and opened the door. Although it was marked as a non-smoking room, we were immediately hit by a dense wave of stale cigarette stench. This wasn't pleasant, but we turned on the lights only to find someone's mini-skirt resting on the couch and coco-crispies spread all over the counter. I'm not really cool with paying for a room that appeared to be last used by the hour, so we headed back to the office to request a different room.
The receptionist was very nice, and although unapologetic, set us up quickly with another room. This one luckily didn't have the cigarette smoke odor, but it still was in need of some TLC. We ended up staying two nights in the room and during this time, two big spiders scurried as we pulled back the covers on the bed, two big wasps somehow managed to find their way in, and numerous little bugs or ants constantly crawled along our bathroom floor. Two other members from my family were staying in other units and they each experienced similar bug issues (one ended up killing 8 wasps in their room upon returning from dinner).
When we went to check out on our final morning, there were two parties in front of us and each was complaining about the conditions of the place and the critters that seemed to make themselves at home. Although we didn't experience them, the people right in front of us had a number of bites on their legs and were complaining about bug beds....
With so many other options in Pittsburg, I don't have a clue why anyone would want to stay here. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT even consider this place as an option.
