Ok so you get what you pay for. LOL. I have no complaints - I've been going here about 6 months now. Even at peak times there's equipment available though parking can be tight. I'd put Fitness Connection slightly below Planet Fitness. If Planet Fitness is Target, Fitness Connection is Walmart, but like a Walmart in a nicer neighboorhood that's got a Subway in it LOL. This location is more mom and pop vs. the University location which would be a more fair comparison to Planet Fitness (I used to be a member there, but due to location - Fitness Connection is closer to my home - I quit).
Yes clientele don't always wipe up equipment after - ugh, but you get that anywhere. The equipment is older, but by and large still functions properly. I get a good workout and can't complain. This place is a mile from my house so I rarely use the locker rooms so I can't comment there. The few times I have it's been decently clean. Little nitpicky things though are sometimes the cleaning crew misses trash in the cup holders - and also there's been the same black sweatshirt by the coat rack for the whole six months I've been going there. Throw it away, put it in lost and found. It's annoying - there's only a few coat pegs and now that we are in winter it's annoying that space is being taken up by misplaced garments.
