Wow. What a great find. I would never eat at a hotel restaurant, but this place had good reviews and it is a goldmine. Hot bread was fantastic. Chef made pasta for the carbonara was excellent, the flavor came through the whole dish. A must order is the braised veal. It really did melt in your mouth and there was a LOT of meat. Save room for dessert. Very unique tiramisu since it is in a chocolate shell and they pour chocolate over the top until it collapses - but the lady fingers are still light and cake like. This is a must have. Since one is not enough we ordered the hot bread pudding with gelato. Again, it was a home run. Perfect balance between hot and cold and no overkill on sweetness. The service was excellent and the bonus came in the form of a wine sale. Our bottle was only $22.50 and it was a pleasant surprise. We like heavy reds and this one hit like a red, but finished clean and dry which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. All this for under $100.
By the way, we stayed at the Doubletree two block away.
